A) How can I tell if I need a new mattress ?
Trust your body! If you're waking up to little aches and pains, and some
that last all day, it's generally a good indicator that your body
isn't getting the proper rest and support that it needs throughout
the night.
B) How long should my bedding last ?
Sleeppost advises consumers to buy the highest quality bedding they can
afford, then replace old bedding every 8-10 years. After this
time, even the best bedding may no longer provide the best comfort
and support.
C) How do I take good care of my mattress ?
Have you ever wondered how to take really good care of your mattress ?
Fret no more, for we have here a handful of
tips that'll help you keep your mattress in tip top condition......
-
It's not a trampoline. Don't let the kids jump in your sleep
set. Their rough-housing could do damage to the interior
construction, as well as to themselves!
-
No boards, please. Never put a board between the mattress
and foundation. It may enhance the sense of support for
a while, but it'll only make the problem worse over time.
When any bed in your home has reached the "board stage",
get rid of it.
-
Out with the old. Now that you've treated yourself to a
new sleep set, arrange to have your old bed removed and
disposed of. Don't give it to the kids, relatives, guests
or neighbors. If it wasn't good enough for you, it isn't
good enough for anyone else. Consider it a health hazard.
Get rid of it.
-
Don't bend or fold. Unless a mattress of foundation is made
entirely of soft material (like foam or cotton), or is specially-built
for folding, it probably has a border wire inside that isn't
meant to be bent.
D) How do I sleep better ?
- Change your schedule. Keep a regular bedtime and wake up time
everyday.
- Diet. A regular diet has been proven to help you sleep.
- Warmth. Try a long, warm bath before bedtime.
- Relax. Read a book, listen to slow music.
- Exercise.
Try exercise during the day. For example, jogging provides
good blood circulation in body.
E) What are the things to avoid when I can't sleep
Identify these activities whether you have been constantly doing it.
It just takes you a little more effort to change, to have a
better sleep. You wouldn't regret it.
- Eating heavy or spicy foods in the evening.
- Drink too much water, or eat too heavy a meal before go to sleep.
- Worry.
- Eat, read, work, or watching TV on bed
- Nap during the day.
- Exercise vigorously close to your bedtime.
F) How do I know which is the best mattress for me
- Size of yourself. Select a mattress size that gives you enough space for easy, free
movement. Couples should have a Queen or King size mattress for both
indivuals to feel comfortable.
- Comfort of yourself.
A mattress doesn't need to be as hard as stone. Look for one that offers
superior cushioning and comfort as well as good support. Select a matching
divan that is designed to work in tandem, acting as a shock absorber
against the wear and tear of nightly use.
- Size of your
budget. Shop for the best value, not the lowest price. "Bargain
bedding" is no bargain when it comes to a good night's sleep. Buying
the best that you can afford is a healthy investment for yourself.
G) What is the size of your mattress ?

H) The Do's and Don'ts of Mattress Care
- Do give your new sleep set time to "air" upon removal from its
plastic packaging. Dispose of all plastic packaging as soon as possible.
- Do carry your mattress flat on its side. It's easier to handle and
you'll be less likely to damage the mattress.
- Do keep your bedding clean. We always suggest using a mattress pad.
- Do
replace the old foundation when purchasing a new mattress. An old foundation
may not provide sufficient support. It may appear that your new mattress
is sagging when it is actually the foundation, which supports the mattress,
that has become worn.
- Do
use an appropriate frame and center support for queen and king size
sets. Using the proper frame will ensure that your warranty remains
in effect.
- Do
turn your mattress occasionally to prolong the comfort and support life.
(Even if you never turned your mattress, however, you'd still get more
comfort out of it than a one-sided mattress.) Body indentations are
a normal occurrence in your new mattress and indicate that the upholstery
layers are conforming to your bodys individual contours. Youll
be pleasantly surprised with that new mattress feeling every
time you turn your mattress.
- Don't
smoke in bed. This mattress is manufactured as required by federal law
to resist, but not necessarily eliminate, ignition by smoldering cigarettes.
- Don't
let anyone stand or jump on your mattress. It wasnt built for
that type of weight distribution or abuse.
- Don't
allow your mattress to get wet. Some of the upholstery materials may
compress. Protect it from water or other liquids.
- Don't
place a board between your mattress and foundation. Your sleep set is
designed as an integrated system to provide you with proper support,
and the foundation plays an important role.
- Don't
bend your new mattress more than 20 degrees. Such treatment may damage
the innerspring unit. Flex rather than bend the mattress when going
through doorways.
- Don't
remove the law tag label at the end of your mattress. This serves as
a means of identification to establish your warranty rights.
- Don't
use dry cleaning fluid of any type on your mattress. These chemicals
will damage some of the construction materials.
I) What does the warranty cover ?
- The warranty
is void if the mattress is folded, saturated in any form of liquid,
burned, soiled, or in an unsanitary condition.
- Body Impressions
are caused by the natural compressions of quality upholstery materials,
not by the sagging of springs, and hence not structural defects.
- The warranty
applies only to genuine structural defects in the product. Normal
wear and tear of parts like cover fabrics, padding or wooden parts
is not covered by this warranty.
- The warranty
does not apply if the mattress is subjected to an inadequate bed
base or inferior foundation.
- If the serial
number on the product is altered or removed, or the product is
subjected to obvious abuse or misuse, the warranty will be void.
- A minimum
transportation fee of $50.00 will be charged. Separate service
and handling charges will also apply.
- If identical
materials are not available, the manufacturer reserves the right
to substitute materials of equal quality.
J) Which are the mattresses provided by Sleeppost at a very low price ?
Bonnel Spring Mattresses, HR Foam Mattresses, Foldable Mattress, Latex Mattresses, Memory Foam Mattresses,
Pockereted Spring Mattresses, Continuous Coils Mattresses
K) How do I compare today's bedding ?
Compare by the
"comfort, feel and support" of the bedding. Find one that you like,
then see what levels of comfort and support you can get for the
same amount of money in another store. Don't forget to compare store
services and delivery as well! We also encourage you to compare
brands.
L) Should I replace my divan when buying a new mattress ?
A good divan
is as important as a good mattress! It acts much like a large shock
absorber, taking a lot of the nightly wear and tear. And it contributes
to your comfort and support. Don't put a new mattress on an old
divan. A brand new mattress placed on a worn divan wears out faster.
It cannot give you the support you are paying for. When you select
the mattress, purchase its companion divan - the two are designed
to work best together.
